"Dreams" by Van Halen
ARRA Classic Rock song of the month...
So it's the last day of May and just in time for ARRA's 5th "Song of the Month." "Dreams" is a song by Van Halen released in 1986 from the album 5150. It was the second single from that album, and it reached number 22 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart that year. This was also Sammy Hagar's first album with the band. And as much as all the die-hard Roth fans wanted to hate on it, the songs were so strong with Sammy's countertenor vocal and new keyboard focus, even they eventually conceded victory.
